About

Dr. Emi Komaki is a clinical psychologist licensed in California (PSY 29956) who has clinical experience for more than ten years. She has provided a wide range of psychological assessments and psychotherapy services to children and adult population in a variety of setting. She specializes in working with people who have struggled with traumas, addictions, depression, anxiety, and severe mental illness. Using tools, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), she assists and guides those who desire to heal and thrive towards a more adaptive way of life. Dr. Komaki is a certified EMDR therapist.

To schedule for a free 20-minute telephone consultation for new client, please call 559-722-7905 and leave me a voice mail. I will return a call within 48 hours. In addition, text messaging to request the services is preferred; please do not leave any sensitive personal information but be brief and general (i.e., name, insurance, brief reason for seeking therapy).

Payments

ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS: Cash, check ($25 fee for returned checks), credit cards

Starting January 1, 2026, there will be a moderate increase in service fees:

45-50 minute session – $140 (current fee $120 until December 31, 2025)

60-minute session – $180 (current fee $140)

60-minute initial intake session – $180 (current fee $140)

45-minute session for graduate school students – $80 (cash only) (current fee $60)

**Late cancelation within 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment without urgent/emergent reasons AND no show will result in $120 fee out of client’s pocket.

For those who use health insurance (Medicare, Anthem Blue Cross, Carelon, Kaiser, Halcyon), please read the below:

Please contact your insurance company prior to the initial appointment to obtain authorization, verify your co-pay, co-insurance, deductible, and the number of sessions you are allowed to have per year. It is client responsibility to renew authorization in a timely manner and communicate with provider.
